What Enso is
Enso FM is an after-hours work-order desk. Its agents answer, capture the job, route it by the rules you set, and log the conversation. Enso is not the authority having jurisdiction, an alarm monitoring station, an emergency service, or a licensed trade contractor. For a fire, medical, or police emergency, contact emergency services directly.
Call recording
Recording is off by default. When it is off, Enso still generates a text transcript to build the work order, but no audio is retained after the call.
A customer may enable recording for its own account. If it does, the customer is responsible for any notice and consent required where the parties to the call are located, including all-party consent states. Recordings are stored encrypted and are subject to the retention settings below.
Data handling
- What is stored: transcripts, SMS and email content the agents handle, work-order fields (site, unit, asset, access notes, urgency, status), contact details of the people the agents communicate with, and audio only where recording is enabled.
- Where: on United States cloud infrastructure operated by the providers listed below.
- In transit: traffic between you, the Service, and its providers is encrypted with TLS.
- At rest: stored data and backups are encrypted by the underlying cloud platforms.
Access and authentication
- Each customer has its own workspace. Accounts are role-based — for example administrator and dispatcher — so people see only what their role allows.
- Enso staff access to customer data is limited to what is needed to operate the Service and provide support, and is logged.
- We follow least-privilege practices for internal systems and review access periodically.
Subprocessors
Enso relies on these categories of providers to deliver the Service:
- Telephony & messaging — provisions phone numbers and carries voice and SMS.
- AI model provider — processes call, message, and email content to run the agents. Content sent through its API is not used to train its foundation models.
- Payment processing — handles checkout and subscription billing; full card numbers are not stored by Enso.
- Cloud application & database hosting — runs the app and stores work-order data.
- Website hosting — serves this marketing site.
A current named list is available to customers on request. We give notice before adding a subprocessor that materially changes how data is handled.
Retention and deletion
Transcripts, recordings, and work-order data are kept for the period a customer configures, or Enso’s default window, and are then deleted or de-identified. Account and business records are kept while the account is active and for a limited period afterward for legal and tax purposes. On request after an account closes, Customer Data is deleted or returned, subject to backups that expire on a rolling schedule.
